In order to respect and protect the privacy and interests of º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø's students on campus and at institutional activities, º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø has implemented a photography/video release policy that governs the nature of photographs and multimedia, generated by the University, for intended use in any and/or all University publications including, but not limited to, the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø website (colgate.edu), newsletters, programs, brochures, institutional calendars, social media, or mass media outlets. This policy grants º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø permission to use the likeness of º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students captured in photograph(s)/video for any and all of its publications and in any and all other media, whether now known or hereafter existing, controlled by º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø, in perpetuity. Additionally, it asserts that no monetary or other claim against º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø for the use of the photograph(s)/video in the aforementioned outlets shall be made by º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø students.

Each individual entering the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø community as a student is required to review this policy. Should questions arise regarding º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø's photography and video release policy due to religious and/or safety concerns, please contact the Office of University Communications at 315-228-7407.
