On Feb. 12, º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø celebrated the opening of the Clifford Gallery’s new exhibition from Franco-American artist Suzanne Husky, titled For Alliances with the Beaver People. The exhibition features a singular physical work: an 11-meter-long embroidered tapestry that traces key moments in beaver-human relationships.

º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø’s entire collection of Chinese woodcut prints, donated by geography professor emeritus and Peace and Conflict Studies founder Theodore Herman (1954–1981), is now on display for the first time. 

º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø officially marked the first repatriation for Ancestral remains removed from what is now the state of Maryland through the federal Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).

In a cooperative effort to bring Haudenosaunee culture to life for younger generations, the Oneida Indian Nation partnered with º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø’s Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Picker Art Gallery to produce large outdoor reading stations, known as a Story Walk.
