Sustainable Transportation

The º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø community is going places. Here's how to get there sustainably.

Bicycle Rentals

With student parking not permitted on most of campus until after 4:30 p.m. each day, a bicycle can be a student's best transportation option. The Green Bikes Program is a bicycle rental program providing an affordable, healthy, and convenient way to move around the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø campus and local community. Students, faculty, and staff can rent a Green Bike for only $15 a rental period.

To increase equitable access to our Green Bikes, the selection lottery is weighted based on access to a car or other bike, housing location, and other factors. Additionally, students in need of a fee waiver may inquire directly with the Office of Sustainability staff.

º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Shuttle

The º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Shuttle has routes cover the residence halls, campus apartments and townhouses, locations near the academic quad, the local grocery store, and the heart of the village. The shuttle is free for all to ride, and helps to lower º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø's carbon footprint by reducing the number of personal vehicles on the road.

Information about º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Shuttle routes and schedules is available online, as well as in the º£½Ç³Ô¹ÏÍø Portal App.
